A natural shampoo block (2x) for normal hair, based on olive oil. Without added preservatives or perfume. Contains 2 soaps of 80 grams and a storage bag.
This neutral shampoo block can be used for normal hair. Olive oil gives volume and shine and removes dullness. All Fair Squared shampoo blocks are based on organic beer. The hops present have a hair care capacity, while the oils have a skin softening and moisturizing effect.
For very chalky water, we recommend rinsing the hair with an acidic rinse. This one can easily be made at home from 1-2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar or lemon juice to a liter of water. This way you optimize the effect of the soap and solve your scalp problems.
- Free from preservatives and alcohol

Fair Squared's soaps also have a nice story behind the maker of the soaps.
The face behind the Fair Squared soap blocks
We are often asked who is the man on the packaging. This is Mohammed, also known as Aleppo man. He is the face behind our solid soaps and has been part of the FAIR SQUARED team since early 2019. But how did this really happen and what is the story behind it?
From Aleppo to Cologne
Mohamad is native Syrian. He lived for many years in Aleppo, the capital of the eponymous laurel soap. Due to the outbreak of the civil war, Mohamad decided to leave Syria. After a year and a half in Lebanon, he came to Cologne in 2015 with his wife and six children.
Wanted and found: Aleppo soap made in Cologne
Mohamad had his own company in Aleppo where he produced and distributed soap and detergents. When we as HONESTLY SQUARED were looking for someone to build up our soap production at the end of 2018, Mohamad decided to apply for this position. His application immediately convinced us. Since then, Mohamad has been the person behind the production of FAIR SQUARED soap and the best part about it is the fact that he can do exactly what he did in his home country of Syria.
Trans Fair e. V. and Fairtrade International
The association TransFair eV was founded in 1992 with a goal, namely to support disadvantaged producers in developing countries. As an independent organization, TransFair eV does not trade with products itself, but grants the fair trade label to fairly traded products and promotes awareness of sustainability. In Germany, 42,000 shops already sell products with a fair trade label. More than 20,000 catering establishments sell fair trade coffee and cocoa. More information can be found at www.fairtrade-deutschland.de.
TransFair is part of the international association Fairtrade International, which is involved in the implementation and care of the partner organisations. More than 1.3 million farmers and employees worldwide benefit from fair trade plantations. Together with their families, many millions of people have better living and working conditions through trade with fair trade products.
The independent certification organization FLO-CERT GmbH is responsible for monitoring fair trade standards. This Bonn-based company works with an independent, transparent and globally consistent certification system according to the requirements of accreditation standard ISO 65 (DIN EN 45011)
